It is a pure acrylic dispersion (aqueous emulsion of thermoplastic acrylic polymer), solvent-free. The composition and certain properties (e.g. pH) differ from the original Plextol D 360.<\/p>\n<p>After the water evaporates it forms a transparent film, very soft, elastic and permanently tacky at room temperature, which does not become brittle and adheres well to many materials. It acts as a pressure-sensitive adhesive with good bond strength and good thermal stability under load.<\/p>\n<h3>Applications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Elastic, permanently tacky coatings<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of self-adhesive coatings on fabrics, non-wovens, plastic films, paper, metals, glass and foam plastics<\/li>\n<li>Collage and bonding where an elastic film is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It can be thinned with water, thickened with suitable thickeners (e.g. cellulose derivatives) and applied by spraying, impregnation, printing, brushing or coating.
