In aqueous solution it gives a mildly alkaline pH (~7.8\u20138) and gradually decomposes into ammonia, CO<sub>2<\/sub> and water, leaving no salts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Solubility:<\/strong> approx. 220 g\/l in water (20 \u00b0C); insoluble in alcohol<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uses:<\/strong> main component of the AB57 poultice (with EDTA, Desogen, CMC) for removing black crusts, gypsum and dirt from stone and wall paintings; saturated solutions in compresses for solubilising sulphates<\/li>\n<li>Store in a closed container in a cool place (slow decomposition)<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturer\/supplier: Kremer Pigmente GmbH &amp; Co.
