Art Restoration Supplies is the materials shop of ART RESTORATION E.E., a company that has been conserving antiquities, monuments and works of art across Greece for over 30 years.
The company
ART RESTORATION E.E. studies, conserves and restores ancient, Byzantine and modern monuments, movable works and objects of historic and artistic value: wall paintings, iconostases, icons, paintings, wood carvings, works on paper, marble and metal works, and folk objects.
It works with museums, ephorates of antiquities, universities, metropolises, municipalities and private clients. In 2005 it received a Europa Nostra award for the conservation of wall paintings and iconostases in two monuments in Preveza.
Why buy from us
We use the same materials in our own projects. We know how a resin behaves on a wall painting, which solvent suits which varnish, and which archival material truly protects a document.

Technical support
We advise you at every stage, from choosing a material to applying it. SDS and TDS are available on request.
Special orders
For materials outside the catalogue, we source them from the manufacturers by arrangement.

The people
Ioannis Liougkos
Art conservator (TEI of Athens) with postgraduate studies at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Sorbonne. He worked for three years in a painting conservation studio in Paris, in collaboration with the C.N.R.S., and for 12 years as conservator for the Municipality of Ioannina.
Christos and Dimitris Liougkos
They handle orders, sourcing from manufacturers and customer service.
