The Tylose MH 300 P are methylhydroxyethylcellulose, water-soluble at cold water and insoluble in hot water and organic solvents. Its aqueous solutions exhibit neutral pH, which makes it particularly suitable for applications requiring chemical stability and compatibility with sensitive materials.
It is widely used as emulsion thickener, but also as adhesive medium in conservation paper, photographic material and in the textile lining/adhesion, offering controlled bonding strength and good reversibility.
