Butyl Methacrylate Acrylic Resin in Solvent (40%)

Solution 40% acrylic resin based on Butyl Methacrylate in benzine 100°/140°C, designed for use as consolidant for paint layers. The formulation offers high bonding strength and effective consolidation of deteriorated paint layers, with good penetration under suitable application conditions.

The material exhibits wide compatibility with organic solvents, allowing viscosity and behaviour to be adjusted to the needs of the treatment.

Solubility – Solvent Compatibility

Fully soluble: esters, ketones, aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons
Partially miscible: alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons

Consolidation of paint layers
Stabilisation of deteriorated surfaces with an organic binder
Conservation applications requiring a strong acrylic consolidant in organic solvent
