The Paraloid B 72 is used for consolidation and protection of works of art made of wood, stone, marble, metal etc. It is soluble in ketones, esters, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

For impregnation and consolidation of wall paintings and paintings, as an intermediate and final varnish, fixing drawings (chalk, charcoal, pastel), as an adhesive for glass and ceramics and for wood conservation.
