The Retouching Varnish by Pebeo is a very thin, discreet varnish that evens out the gloss where dull patches appear during painting. According to the manufacturer it is reversible, non-yellowing, with very good resistance to photo-oxidation, dries in about 15 minutes and is thinned with white spirit.

- Intermediate/temporary varnishing of oil paintings
- Evening out gloss after local treatments
