The Dorland's Wax Medium by Jacquard is a cold-applied wax made from a blend of pure waxes and dammar resin. According to the manufacturer it is used as a protective final coating for oil paintings, watercolours and mixed media, as a varnish with a durable water-resistant finish and as a medium with oil colours or pigments (e.g. Pearl Ex); it does not yellow.
