The cabinets Chemisafe FIRE MY23 (and BIG FIRE MY23, BACMY23) are certified fire-resistant cabinets for the safe storage of flammable liquids – solvents, varnishes, thinners – in conservation laboratories, archives and museums. Made in Italy.
- Constructed from electro-galvanised 1–1.5 mm sheet steel, acid-resistant external epoxy coating (oven-cured at 200 °C)
- Insulation with high-density rock wool and calcium sulphate panels; internal lining of melamine resistant to chemical vapours
- Automatic door closing when the ambient temperature exceeds 50 °C; system allowing the doors to remain open during use
- 30 mm intumescent seals and air inlet/outlet fire dampers that close at 70 °C (DIN 4102-6)
- Pre-formed ventilation with Ø100 mm flange for external connection or filtration system
- Anti-spark hinges, earthing, adjustable feet, lock, ISO 3864 marking
- Adjustable shelves (painted – BASIC or stainless steel – EASY) on non-sparking aluminium rings, spill-containment sump with grid
- Fire-resistance certification 90 minutes (TYPE 90) according to EN 14470-1:2023 and EN 16121 (Bureau Veritas); pallet base for easy transport
