The Chemisafe CHEMIHOOD PLUS provide a safe space for handling chemicals – solvents, adhesives, varnishes – without an external flue: vapours are retained in an activated carbon filter. Category II enclosure, tested to NF X15-211 by an independent laboratory.

  • Housing made of 8 mm "optical" acrylic (PMMA) for clear, distortion-free visibility
  • 7° inclined front for ergonomics; front opens fully and locks for easy access and cleaning
  • Two hand ports, side cable/tube passages
  • Stainless steel spill-containment sump
  • Air filtration unit (fresh air box) according to NF X15-211: axial fan 100/250 m³/h, 220 V/50 Hz, IP44, 45 dB, ON/OFF switch with indicators, operating hours counter, filter saturation alert (audible/visual) by measuring air speed at the activated carbon filter (~0.2 m/s)
  • The activated carbon filter is selected according to the products (solvents, acids or mixed) and replaced 2–3 times a year
  • Optional: 6 mm work surface in tempered enamelled Emalit glass or HPL, mobile base with or without shelf, external lighting
