Aluminium barrier film has a very high barrier to water vapour and oxygen and is used for packing objects that must be kept dry or airtight – metals, electronics, cultural objects (e.g. anoxic treatment). It is sealed with impulse or constant-heat sealers (PE side to PE side – the less glossy side). Food-safe.
