Aqueous, non-ionic emulsion consisting mainly of a vinyl acetate–ethylene (EVA) copolymer, emulsified with a volatile material that evaporates on drying without leaving residues.

The Beva Original Formula D-8-S contains 55% solid resins and therefore sets quickly when applied to porous materials, forming a clear, colourless film that is not water-soluble.
Beva D-8-S is reversible with heat or removable with mixtures of alcohols and aromatic hydrocarbons. It is used for bonding lining supports, as a general adhesive for tacking margins, and in cases where solvent-based adhesives may cause problems.
