Tinuvin® 292 (BASF): a liquid hindered amine light stabiliser (HALS), a mixture of bis(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate and methyl pentamethylpiperidyl sebacate (CAS 41556-26-7 / 82919-37-7).
- Dosage: usually 2–3% by weight of the dry resin
- Solubility: soluble in hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and alcohols; insoluble in water
- Uses: stabilising low-molecular-weight varnishes (Regalrez 1094/1126, Laropal A81) and acrylic films, combined with Kraton G1650 for flexibility
