The Oxy-eye self-adhesive indicator turns pink below 0.1% oxygen within 2–3 hours and returns to blue above 0.5% O₂ in 3–15 minutes. Because of the pressure-sensitive adhesive it is not suitable for long-term storage – for that use, Ageless Eye is preferable.
