The NSD 1120 A is a modern low-pressure table, designed to support all the critical stages of paper and painting conservation. It is the full version of the low-pressure table series, incorporating heating, suction, active cooling and a controlled humidification system.

Its construction ensures rapid and uniform distribution of heat, suction and humidity over the entire work surface, allowing precise, repeatable and fully controlled treatments even on particularly sensitive or deformed works.

The NSD 1120 A consists of:

• Removable support legs, for easy movement and transport

• Detachable control unit, which includes:

  • main on/off switch

  • heating system switch with indicator light

  • low-pressure system switch with indicator light

  • cooling system switch with indicator light

  • temperature controller with digital display

  • pressure regulator with digital display

  • automatic pressure control switch

  • heating system fault indicator light

  • connection hose to the suction system

• Helical electric fans for the cooling system

• Aluminium work surface, with built-in heating elements and suction ducts

• Two perforated working plates (platens) of different thickness:

  • top plate: 1 mm thick, Ø 1.5 mm holes

  • bottom plate: 2 mm thick, Ø 3.5 mm holes

  • the holes cover 25% of the surface

  • fixed with heat-resistant tape for easy dismantling

• Quiet electric suction vacuum, model Europa 303E, 1200 W, single-phase 220 V

The NSD 1120 A features built-in humidification system, specially designed for applications requiring precise adjustment of relative humidity:

• Humidification control unit, with:

  • on/off switch

  • programmer

  • probe with 5 m cable

• Ultrasonic humidifier, with connection hoses

  • dimensions: 320 × 200 × 330 mm

• Removable Plexiglas dome, to create a controlled microclimate above the work
