The Pre-Lim is a mildly abrasive paste made from a blend of Neuburg siliceous chalks in a water/white spirit emulsion, for scratch-free cleaning of metals and sensitive surfaces of works of art (arms and armour, sculptures, copper and brass, ceramics).
- Apply with a soft cloth and light pressure; after drying, the residue is removed with a clean cloth.
- For long-term protection, follow with Renaissance wax.
- Not suitable for silver and precious metals. A test in an inconspicuous spot is recommended.
