C.T.S. Silical 120: white pourable room-temperature-vulcanising silicone rubber (RTV-2, condensation cure), for taking impressions and moulds from sculptures, reliefs, ceramics and architectural elements.
- Catalyst: Silical 125 at 5% by weight; working time ~90 minutes, demoulding after 24 hours (23 °C)
- Properties: hardness 19 Shore A, tensile strength 2.5 N/mm², elongation 350%, tear strength 18 N/mm, linear shrinkage ≤0.5%
- Viscosity: 25,000 cP; specific gravity 1.19 kg/l
- Silical TIXO: thixotropic agent 2–4% by weight for application on vertical surfaces
- Porous substrates require prior sealing/release agent (e.g. Silical 100)
