Silk blotting paper is wood-free, chlorine-free and acid-free, available without optical brightening agents and in various weights (grammages). It is available both buffered and unbuffered, in sheets and rolls. It is suitable for archiving photographs, watercolours, graphics and textiles, as well as for covering and wrapping sensitive objects. It contains no optical brighteners and is approved according to the PAT test.
Buffered silk blotting paper offers an alkaline reserve, which makes it less prone to acidification over time. However, it is more expensive and can only be used with a few materials. Never use buffered silk blotting paper with glass or silver objects. We also recommend using unbuffered paper for most photographic materials.

"Jewellery paper" is used for interleaving protection of documents, prints, textiles and objects, for padding and wrapping. The unbuffered version is recommended for photographic material and protein materials (silk, wool, leather).
