pH electrode with a flat tip for direct measurement of pH on surfaces. In conservation it is the appropriate electrode for measuring the surface pH of paper, board, leather, parchment and stone: the tip is placed on a drop of deionised water or a wetted spot and the measurement is non-destructive. With a BNC connector, it connects to any pH meter with a BNC input (e.g. HI8424, HI83141-1).
